Terms of service

1. The service

The service lets you invite people to record video testimonials, review, edit and transcribe them, and publish them on hosted pages, embeds and exports. It is for business use only; you confirm that you are not using it as a consumer.

2. Workspaces and members

You are responsible for the members you invite and for everything done in your workspace. Keep sign-in links and access private, and tell us promptly about unauthorized use.

3. Collecting testimonials fairly

Testimonials must reflect real experience. When you use the service, you agree to:

• Invite only people who actually used your product or service, and never submit, buy or fabricate testimonials or impersonate anyone.
• Ask neutral questions that do not steer people towards praise.
• Offer any reward for every honest submission, never depending on positive sentiment, ratings or publication, and honor every reward you offer.
• Keep reward and other material-connection disclosures that the service shows; they cannot be switched off.
• Not present selected testimonials as complete or representative of all feedback, and be able to substantiate objective claims made in them, such as results or savings.
• Publish only testimonials whose speaker accepted the testimonial notice, and only within what it allows. Never change the meaning of what someone said.
• Tell us promptly if a participant withdraws consent directly with you. Stop your own publication and remove copies you made yourself within 24 hours of receiving a withdrawal, directly or through us.
• Comply with the advertising, consumer protection and data protection laws that apply where you publish.

4. Your content

You keep all rights in your content and testimonials. You give us a license to host, process, transcode, transcribe, translate and display them only to provide the service to you. You are responsible for having the rights and consents your content needs.

5. Not allowed

Unlawful, deceptive, defamatory or infringing content; content showing or made by people under 18; harassment; malware; attempts to access other workspaces or bypass limits; and reselling the service without our agreement.

6. Reports and suspension

Anyone can report a testimonial to us. If we have credible indications of unauthorized publication or a breach of these terms, we may unpublish content or suspend a workspace immediately, tell you why, and give you the chance to respond.

7. Fees

Paid plans and their prices are shown before you subscribe. Prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. Free use may be limited. We announce price changes for existing subscriptions at least 30 days in advance.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change features; we announce changes that significantly reduce what you have paid for in advance.

9. Ending

You can close your workspace at any time. We may end these terms with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach. After closure, you can choose return or deletion of your personal data as set out in the data processing agreement. Unless you request earlier deletion, export is available for up to 90 days; deletion takes place no later than 90 days after closure, subject to the exceptions in that agreement.

10. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health, and where the law does not allow a limit. Otherwise our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, or EUR 100 if greater, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect damage.

You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from testimonials you collect or publish in breach of these terms or the law.

11. Changes to these terms

We publish new versions here with a new version number and announce material changes at least 30 days in advance. If you continue to use the service after that date, the new version applies; if you do not agree, you can close your workspace.

12. Law and courts

The law of the Republic of Cyprus applies, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction. Contact: hello@jlnlabs.com.
